Study abroad · Ireland
Ireland offers English-speaking EU study with strong technology employers and a graduate stay-back route. Non-visa-required arrivals register after landing; others need entry visas first.
Step 1 — Check whether you need an entry visa
Some nationalities need a study visa before travel; others enter and register. Check your status on the official site first — arriving under the wrong assumption is the costliest possible mistake.
Step 2 — Enrol and insure
Secure a full-time course on the interim list of eligible programmes, pay fees, and hold private medical insurance for the full stay — immigration registration requires the policy document, not a promise.
Step 3 — Register for Stamp 2
Register with immigration for Stamp 2 student permission, showing funds (check the current required balance), enrolment and insurance. Stamp 2 allows limited term-time work with full-time hours in holiday periods.

English proof and graduate stay-back
Degree courses commonly ask for IELTS 6.0–6.5 or equivalent. NFQ level 8+ graduates can access the Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) to seek work. Prepare with Jobins Training English courses to meet the band first time.
