Who is responsible

Jobins Training is responsible for the personal information used to operate this learning website and handle your purchases. Contact contact@jobinstraining.com for privacy questions or requests.

Information we use and why

We use your name, email, account details, purchases, billing information and, for physical books, delivery address and contact details to fulfil orders and provide support. Course enrolments, lesson progress, quiz submissions, tutor assignments and certificates let us deliver the learning services you buy. These activities are needed to perform our contract or take steps you request before purchase.

We use payment and refund records for accounting and legal obligations. IP addresses, browser details, login/security logs and usage counters help protect accounts, prevent misuse and operate a reliable website; these are our legitimate interests. Enquiries and correspondence help us answer your requests and resolve complaints. Where consent is needed for optional marketing or non-essential tracking, it must be obtained separately; purchasing does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

AI speaking, writing and assessments

When you use an AI voice activity, your microphone audio is sent to OpenAI to produce the conversation. Assessment transcripts, written answers, feedback, scores, attempt status and usage records may be stored with your learning account. Assessment material is sent to the AI provider for feedback and grading. Our current voice request does not enable optional provider session-recording storage; this does not mean the provider never processes or retains technical or safety data.

AI feedback is an educational estimate and can be wrong. It is not an official exam or a decision about employment, professional registration or immigration. Contact us to query a result. Use fictional practice cases; do not include real patient details or other sensitive personal information. You can stop microphone access through your browser controls.

Who receives information

Hostinger hosts the website. WooCommerce and Tutor LMS manage orders and learning records on it. WooPayments/Stripe processes payments; we receive transaction status and references, not your full card number. Lulu Direct, its integration service and print/delivery partners receive the order, book selection and delivery/contact details needed to fulfil paperbacks. OpenAI processes material submitted to AI features. Microsoft 365 and the site’s mail transport handle business and transactional messages. Assigned tutors receive the learning and contact information necessary to teach and support you.

Some providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their processing locations and transfer arrangements depend on the service and account configuration. Contact us for details relevant to your information. External links such as WhatsApp and embedded services have their own privacy information.

Cookies, required information and retention

Essential cookies maintain sign-in, basket and checkout sessions. Restricting them may prevent purchases or access. Any optional embedded content or tracking must be considered separately from essential site functions.

We need relevant account, payment and delivery details to fulfil your purchase. You may decline optional information, but an activity requiring it may then be unavailable. We retain learning and assessment records while needed to provide account access, support and resolve assessment queries. Order and payment records are retained as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal claims. Enquiries and security logs are kept according to their purpose, unresolved issues and applicable obligations. These criteria also inform deletion reviews; backups may retain earlier copies until they expire.

Your rights

You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or obtain a portable copy of your information, depending on the circumstances. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it for future processing. Email contact@jobinstraining.com; we may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

We update this notice when our services or handling of information changes.
