Description
Practise writing about the connections between daily life, shared infrastructure and the environment. Book 6 provides material for comparing plans, explaining trade-offs and tracing how a proposed change could affect the people who use a place or service.
The ten topic groups examine housing over time, comfortable urban space, connected transport services, waste prevention and recovery, water systems, energy demand, urban biodiversity, land use, environmental responsibility and settlements beyond construction. The questions encourage attention to operation, upkeep and practical consequences alongside the initial appeal of a new proposal.
Twelve lessons explain how to select useful comparisons, develop a causal mechanism, qualify a position and make an explicit outweigh judgement. Task 1 instruction includes organising a process into meaningful stages and describing spatial change clearly. Further lessons connect each solution with the relevant problem, build cohesion through clear relationships and review accuracy, relevance and completeness. The worked and additional tasks create room to apply those methods across a sustained practice programme.
